A Piece of Time Genealogy took my thin folder of generational information and dug rich into my husband's ancestral line. Nicole discovered that his 9th great-grandfather played musical instruments in the court of King Henry II of France and the court of Queen Elizabeth I of England. The two following generations continued to play for the Kings and Queens of England through the reign of King Charles Stuart and the English Civil War. She also found that my husband's 9th great-grandmother came from a musical Italian Renaissance family.
It was thrilling to know that our family's musical talents date back to the royal courts in Europe and the Italian Renaissance! We are excited to discover more ancestral lines through A Piece of Time Genealogy! Who knows what other rich history and characters can be intertwined in our family tree?
